ABA book written by Zachary Benjamin Pyers and Kenton Steele
Even though it is a relatively new concept and business model, ridesharing is changing the way we travel.
To help attorneys understand the many legal ramifications in this developing area of the law, two attorneys with the Reminger law firm have written a state-of-the-art book on the subject. The book, Ridesharing Law and Liability, was published by the American Bar Association.
“Ridesharing Law and Liability is a useful how-to guide for handling the key elements of ride-sharing litigation,” says Reminger. “[It] covers important information for handling legal cases involving this developing industry, including emerging theories in ride-sharing liability as well as the regulations and case law that affect the ride sharing industry.”
Among the topics covered in the book: jurisdictional issues for ride-sharing companies, insurance coverage, novel liability theories, and the effects and impacts of changing regulations. The authors also provide timely commentary on the impacts of COVID-19 on the ridesharing industry.
