Congratulations to the three lawyers at Reminger Co., LPA who have been honored as Best Lawyers® 2021 Lawyers of the Year.
The award recipients are Adam M. Fried (Elder Law), Franklin C. Malemud (Litigation, Trusts and Estates) and William A. Meadows (Medical Malpractice Defense).
Best Lawyers in America selects recipient attorneys by conducting peer-review surveys in which leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their peers. The lawyers honored as “Lawyers of the Year” have received particularly high ratings in these surveys by earning a high level of respect among their peers for their professionalism, ability, and integrity.
Only a single lawyer in each specialty in each community is honored as a “Lawyer of the Year.”
When you have professional liability insurance coverage through Alta Pro Insurance, you’ll have the claims repair and legal defense experts of Reminger Law on your side. Want to have a resource like that in your practice? Here’s how to get it.
William A. Meadows. For more than 30 years, his practice has been dedicated to the defense of hospitals, physicians, nurses and virtually every other category of health care provider. Throughout his career, he has successfully defended hundreds of lawsuits, mostly involving claims of medical malpractice and hospital liability. He is a frequent speaker on issues of Medical Malpractice and Risk Management. He also serves as Chairman of the Reminger Medical Malpractice Group and is a member of the firm’s Executive Group. This is the fifth time William Meadows has been recognized as “Best Lawyers” Lawyer of the Year.
Adam M. Fried. As co-chair of Reminger’s estate, trust, and probate litigation practice group, he has a broad working knowledge of the areas of law that touch upon the disputes he handles, coupled with a rare ability to quickly capture the factual essence of a claim. Adam has served as lead trial attorney in hundreds of successful estate and trust disputes. He has tried many high stakes cases to verdict: will and trust contests, executor and trustee removal actions, interpretation of wills and trusts and ambiguities, accountings, breaches of fiduciary duty, and claims seeking to void gifts and beneficiary designations. Many of the cases he has handled are often cited in the courts throughout Ohio. This is the third time that Adam has been selected as “Best Lawyers” Lawyer of the Year.
Franklin C. Malemud. Franklin serves as co-chair of Reminger’s Probate and Trust Litigation practice group. The majority of his practice focuses upon litigation involving wills, trusts, guardianship, conservatorship, powers of attorney, and living wills. In addition, Franklin defends professional liability litigation with a focus upon lawyer negligence. Franklin is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and a past chair of the Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Law section of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. Franklin serves on the Jewish Community Federation’s (JCF) Professional Advisory Council steering committee, which assists JCF members with continuing education on charitable gift planning. This is Franklin’s first time selected as “Best Lawyers” Lawyer of the Year.
